Fundraising

We often sit and ponder how we can make a difference. The following is a list of programs and opportunities you can support to do just that.

SCRIP

Helps the parish with very little effort.  Just pick up SCRIP as you shop.  We have many of the stores that are popular Kohls, Fleet Farm, Old Navy, Menards, Walmart, Cabella's and more.  You use it just like a gift card and the parish automatically makes a percentage of each purchase.  Plan ahead and pick some up.  Don’t forget your groceries and gas.  Remember if you call ahead during the week we can have your order ready for pick up Mon-Fri 8:00-4:00 at the Parish Office 920-866-2410.  Weekends it’s available at Sunday Liturgies. Time And Talent

Time and Talent Auction is an annual springtime fundraiser for the parish. Numerous items and offers of service are donated by parish members and area businesses. The Online Auction offers a variety of items for everyone to bid on, including Wine Bags and Grab Bags! Watch for updates and information in the parish bulletin, on the St. Louis Parish Facebook page, and the St. Louis Time and Talen fundraising website page.

Summer Festival

(FYI it replaces the Kermis. A Kermis is a celebration of the harvest.  In the Belgian language it is pronounced “Grand Fete”, which means “big festival”.  Our Belgian ancestors celebrated their Kermis for two days.  Usually Sunday and Monday.  Sunday traditionally started with Mass after which many of the attendees walked to the nearest tavern.  The tavern keeper served Belgian pies and dancing began.  Many women would get new Kermis dresses for the dance.)

The festivities under the tent including Belgian trippe, booyah, Belgian pies, farmers market, deli, chili cook-off., and live bands. It also includes a raffle, children's games, volley ball pick-up games and car show.

Religious Education Aluminum Cans

Thanks to the many people who have been contributing their aluminum cans to help fund the Religious Education programs at St. Louis. This collection is ongoing and anyone “can” drop off theirs in the storage area next to the parish center behind the wooden divider. Cans are picked up the first Thursday of each month.

Religious Education Planet Green

Planet Green is a program where our parish earns money by sending in used printer ink cartridges, cell phone and small electronics.
